Honored & Deeply Touched
I am truly honored and deeply touched to share that Mr. Marko De La Garza — affectionately known as "The Web Poet" — has written a personal poem dedicated to me.
Marko is a celebrated romance and nature poet, writer, speaker, and passionate advocate for kindness, conservation, and the way we treat one another, animals, and our Earth. In 2023, he had the distinguished honor of speaking at the Symposium of the Cervantes Institute at Harvard University, where he presented on the intersection of AI and poetry — a testament to his forward-thinking voice in the literary world.
His words remind us: "How we treat each other, the animals, and the Earth matters."

The Times...

Of the times that you have called out in the dark..
Gentle cries
from your loving
and gentle heart
your soft brown eyes
crying from the hurt and pain.
This hurt will not
always remain!
Someone has listened
someone has heard
the cries from your soul
and every single word.
Of the love that you have to give.
To truly give so that
you can truly feel whole...
And other needs and wants and desires,
that only your true
other half would know...
Because he is
the same as you...
with a love that will be true..
Finally, someone who will truly listen and care and love.
Someone who will finally choose...you.
To hold and touch and love.
In this world and the one to come..
Never separated
never apart.
The two who are now..
One Heart.
